In Uttar Pradesh, in the bulldozer of CM Yogi, the Chief Ministers of many BJP-ruled states are exploring their chances of victory. Now the Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh is also seen adopting this model.
Bulldozer maternal uncle’s name given to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
After the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Uttar Pradesh for the second time in a row, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi Adityanath) as well as their bulldozer models (Bulldozer Model) was also credited for the victory. In Yogi’s bulldozer, the Chief Ministers of many BJP-ruled states are also exploring the possibilities of their victory. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who won the assembly elections in 2013 on the popularity of good governance and public-friendly policies, has also started trying to remove the obstacles in his path with the bulldozer model. Shivraj Singh Chouhan is the only leader in BJP who has a long tenure as Chief Minister. His tenure is also becoming a new record every day.
Lack of popular schemes and consistency in good governance is being considered as the biggest challenge in the way of BJP retaining the government in the state assembly elections to be held in October next year. There is a two party system in the state. The Congress or its leaders are not a big challenge in this system. There is no other big leader in the Congress than Chouhan. In fact, in the 2018 assembly elections, the BJP could not form the government for the fourth time in a row, so the main reason for this was considered to be the desire for change in the voter. The caste conflict over the Atrocity Act also caused damage. Even after the BJP did not get the necessary seats to form the government, it got more votes than the Congress.
Half term of Shivraj government passed out in competition with Corona
Before 2003, the Bharatiya Janata Party government could never complete a five-year term. But, the BJP also made a record of forming the government for three consecutive times under the leadership of Chouhan. In March 2020, due to the defection of Congress MLAs under the leadership of Jyotiraditya Scindia, Shivraj Singh Chouhan got a chance to become the Chief Minister for the fourth time. Half the term of the government has gone out of competition with the corona infection. Its effect has also been clearly visible on the popular schemes of Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Many state governments have implemented two of Chouhan’s most popular schemes. This is Ladli Lakshmi and Teerth Darshan Scheme. The Congress government formed under the leadership of Kamal Nath government had stopped the implementation of these schemes. After the situation becomes normal after Corona, there is a possibility of speed in the implementation of both these schemes.
The way to victory is in the image of the bulldozer mama?
The scheme to popularize Shivraj Singh Chouhan as Mama is Ladli Laxmi. This scheme was started in the year 2007. The government has also brought Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0. Under this scheme, the government has decided to give an amount of twenty five thousand rupees as scholarship on admission in the college. The government will also pay the medical and engineering fees of girls. Girls will also start getting the benefit of this scheme only after two years. But, Chief Minister Chouhan wants to keep his vote bank on hold through the scheme. In the last assembly elections, women voters were more visible in favor of BJP. A bulldozer has also been associated with this image of Mama. In the hoardings put up by local MLA Rameshwar Sharma in the capital Bhopal, Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been named as Bulldozer Mama. The reason for this naming is the bulldozers being run by the government on the hideouts of criminals. On Monday itself, the administration started a bulldozer at the house of the accused of raping a minor in Shahdol. Earlier, under the anti-mafia campaign in Raisen district, government land was freed from encroachment. In Sheopur also the house of the accused of rape was demolished. Incidents of bulldozers being run in dozens of districts of the state suggest that Chief Minister Chouhan is following the Yogi model to clear his way in the assembly elections to be held next year.
Babulal Gaur got the name of Bulldozer Lal
The bulldozer model is not new to Madhya Pradesh. Even in the nineties, there was a lot of discussion about bulldozers in the Bharatiya Janata Party government. Sunderlal Patwa was the Chief Minister of the state. Babulal Gaur was the Urban Development Minister in his cabinet. In order to beautify the big cities of the state and widen the roads, he had run a bulldozer to free the government land from encroachment. Due to this, Gaur also got the name of Bulldozer Lal. Sunderlal Patwa also called him Bulldozer Minister. The bulldozer run by Babulal Gaur was also supported by the top BJP leadership. His anti-encroachment campaign, many historical places also came in front of the people. The Rajwada of Indore was also freed from encroachment by Gaur. Bulldozers gave Gaur political heights. He also became the Chief Minister of the state. The message is also clear from the election results of Uttar Pradesh that action against criminals gets public support. At the same time, pressure is also created on the criminals.
