In his innings of 27 balls, he hit five sixes and as many fours. He scored 64 runs in total. With the help of his innings, Thunder scored 196 for 7 in this match at the Gabba (Brisbane).
Billings’ shots were out of the fielders’ reach but it kept the audience busy. His two shots were caught by the fans in the stands. After catching these catches, he seemed quite happy with his efforts. The first shot was made by Billings on the ball of right-arm fast bowler James Beazley. He hit his full toss ball over the mid-wicket boundary.
The shot went to the spectator who made no mistake in catching the ball. Billings then hit a six off Afghanistan’s Mujeeb-ur-Rahman, the mystery spinner.
