Royals’ top order is tremendous
The Royals have Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler and Samson in the top order who have used the powerplay very well. Butler’s strike rate in Powerplay is 196.6. And Jaiswal has a strike rate of 184 in the powerplay overs. The Royals have plenty of depth in their batting line-up with Devdutt Paddikal, Ravichandran Ashwin, Shimron Hetmyer and Jason Holder. His economy rate in bowling has been 7.3 so far which can be called the best. Their top three spinners Adam Zampa, Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal performed well against Chennai Super Kings.
It remains to be seen whether the same bowling combination is used again after the three-run win over Chennai. The Royals beat Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals by huge margins but the win against Chennai was close. Now they face their toughest challenge of the season in the form of Titans.
Gujarat team is in excellent rhythm
Titans have players like Pandya, David Miller, Shubman Gill, Sai Sudarshan, Vijay Shankar and Mohit Sharma. Shankar had scored 63 off 24 balls against KKR but Rinku Singh gave KKR a miraculous victory by hitting Yash Dayal for five sixes in the last over. Titans replaced Dayal with 34-year-old Mohit, who took two wickets for 18 runs in four overs to guide the team to victory against Punjab.
