Mufti Mujahim heads the ‘Defence Ministry’ created by the TTP. Mufti Mujahim is included in the list of terrorists of the US State Department. This ministry is divided into two zones, North and South. This includes areas like Peshawar, Malakand, Mardan, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Kohat and Zhob. A ‘Special Istishadi Force’ is also part of this ministry which includes a whole fleet of suicide bombers.
Will Pakistan be like Afghanistan?
The head of TTP’s Intelligence Directorate is Noor Wali Mahmood. There are 20 members in Darul Qaza and 14 in Darul Ifta. Nizamuddin Khan, co-founder of ‘The Khorasan Diary’, is seeing these appointments of TTP linked to the Afghan Taliban. In a tweet, he wrote, ‘Just as Al Qaeda announced Al Shabaab’s ability to take over Somalia, just as the Afghan Taliban took over Afghanistan, so did TTP for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan in Pakistan. Announcements have been made.
TTP became the biggest headache for Pakistan
TTP is the biggest threat to the Government of Pakistan. Last month, when General Bajwa was handing over command of the Pakistan Army to new chief Asim Munir, the Tehreek-e-Taliban announced the cancellation of a ceasefire agreement signed in June. In a direct threat to Munir, the TTP told its men that the Pakistan Army was carrying out operations against the Mujahideen, so it was necessary to attack wherever possible in the country.
