Zelensky reprimands NATO, asks for weapons
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has slammed NATO for not fully taking the beleaguered country along. He also appealed to NATO countries to supply more weapons to help in the war against Russia. Zelensky said via video link that he would either have to provide Ukraine with the assistance needed to defeat Russia or “face a delayed war between Russia and itself. He insisted on the supply of more artillery systems and other weapons.” Gave.
Ukraine has difficulty getting NATO membership
Zelensky has acknowledged that membership of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is still a distant dream. The military organization is trying to strike a balance without a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia and insists its member-states supply Ukraine with weapons. Europe’s peace has been disturbed by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. NATO is then pushing for a large-scale military and weapons mobilization in Eastern Europe that had not been seen since the Cold War. Sweden and Finland are set to become two new members of the Defense Organization.
Ukraine’s troubles may increase due to NATO announcement
NATO’s designation of Russia as a threat could only increase Ukraine’s troubles. Russia has slowed down the pace of attacks in eastern Ukraine over the past few days. However, in the meantime Kyiv was also attacked with 14 missiles. It is now believed that Russia, irritated by NATO’s statement, can increase the pace of its attack in Ukraine. Ukraine, which has been facing Russian aggression for the last four months, now has almost no fighting power. If the US and other NATO countries stop the supply of weapons to Ukraine, then it may be forced to surrender within a few days.
