After becoming the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif spoke to Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang on the phone for the first time. In the conversation, he raised the issue of Karachi University blast. He also expressed displeasure over the fact that Pakistan has not been able to take any action even after 22 days. With this, he has asked to increase the security of other Chinese institutions so that such an incident does not happen in the future.
China is angry after the attack
Li Keqiang said that China has been angry since the attack on 26 April. Earlier on May 11, the Foreign Minister of China had also demanded that the accused involved in this attack should be punished at the earliest. In a conversation with Li Keqiang, Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan is investigating this attack. Soon the accused will be arrested and punished according to the law. Along with this, he also said that the security of all the institutions of China will be increased.
China called back its citizens
China has recalled its teachers teaching at the Confucius Institute. There are five Confucius Institutes in Pakistan, and two Confucius Classrooms that promote the Chinese language. More than 30 thousand students are learning Chinese in Pakistan.
