America is slowing down the supply of arms because of Russia!
As Fox News reports, the US has decided to slow down the delivery of modern weapons to Ukraine. This includes the HIMARS rocket system, the missile defense system, the Javelin anti-tank missile, the Stinger air defense system and the M-777 howitzer. The channel quoted a US congressional source as saying that the risk of conflict with Russia has also forced the US to cut arms supplies. Despite this, a majority of Democratic Party lawmakers are adamant on providing Ukraine with a new military aid package.
US Defense Ministry promises aid to Ukraine
A day earlier, US Defense Department spokesman Patrick Ryder said Washington and its allies would continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine, including the delivery of a number of critical weapons. Ryder said on Twitter that we will continue to support Ukraine in its fight to defend their country. This will continue till the end of the conflict. Ryder said, “We are doing our best to provide Ukraine with vital combat capability together with our allies and partners.”
America is going to give this weapon to Ukraine
On Friday, the US Department of Defense said it would provide Ukraine with more ammunition and additional artillery shells for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) as part of an additional $725 million military aid package. In addition, the new package will include 5,000 Anti-Tank Weapons, Additional High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles (HARMs), over 200 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles and over 2 million small arms ammunition.
Are US arms stockpiles really empty?
According to experts, America has no shortage of weapons. He is giving only such weapons to Ukraine, which has no shortage. In such a situation, to say that America is running short of weapons, it will not be true. It is of course that the arrival of these weapons to Ukraine has resulted in massive emptying of space in US warehouses. America has the largest defense industry in the world. He also has a large number of technology, raw material and spare parts to make these weapons. In such a situation, America can refill its warehouses whenever it wants.
