Ever since its launch, this SUV created a ruckus, booking 250 units every day

Volkswagen has become the first favorite car for everyone from youth to today. This is a true German SUV, which costs just Rs 10.50 lakh. Volkswagen’s Taigun has been launched recently. SUV Taigun has received over 18,000 bookings since its India launch on 23rd September. The SUV is reportedly getting an average of 250 bookings per day. The company is manufacturing it in India itself and has been sold out for 2021. That is, now you will be able to buy this car only in 2022.

    Pre-booking started even before launch

Introduced in India at a starting price of Rs 10.5 lakh, this mid-size SUV had received around 12,000 pre-bookings ahead of its launch. The overwhelming response from the customers continued even after the launch and Volkswagen may now temporarily close the bookings for the car. Talking about the features of the car, the Volkswagen Taigun will get two engine options based on TSI technology. These options are of 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines. Based on the MQB A0 IN platform, the Taigun comes with a longer wheelbase and higher ground clearance to match the Indian conditions. It comes with all modern safety and features including ABS with EBD, 6 airbags, sunroof, wireless charging and more.
