But at present wheat is being sold at Rs 2060 per quintal in the market.
Wheat will be procured from farmers sitting at home only after making a call
The government has issued orders in all the purchase centers to buy wheat at the support price in the village itself. District Food Marketing Officer BK Yadav said that the process of buying and registering wheat from farmers is going on. Any farmer of the district can call or send a message to his mobile number 9919515204.
Wheat procurement facility will be made available from the village itself by talking to the regional centers of the district. Told that wheat will be purchased from farmers in Panchayat Bhawan through purchase centers after talking to fair rate vendors and village heads. After this, the wheat purchased from here will be sent to the depot attached to the Food Corporation of India.
First rank in Hamirpur division in wheat procurement campaign
District Food Marketing Officer informed that till now 27222 quintals of wheat have been procured in the purchasing centers operated in the district. 492.586 lakh has also been paid to 477 farmers. Action is on to make payment to 66 farmers who sell wheat. So far, more than two thousand farmers have registered for selling wheat.
Told that in the wheat procurement campaign, Hamirpur in Chitrakoot Dham Banda Mandal is at the first position. Told that with the new order, the system of selling wheat to the farmers sitting at home has been started. With this arrangement, the cost of traveling from village to mandi will be saved.
