Under the development, a fire broke out in a firecracker factory named Kiran Fire Works in village Balwantpur near Saurana village on Panchkula-Dehradun highway of Sarsawa police station on Saturday evening with a sudden explosion. It is being told that a large number of laborers were working at the time of the accident.

The fire from gunpowder spread so fast in the factory that no one could survive and three people died due to the fire. While many were injured, many of whom were referred to the Higher Center. The rest are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital and Medical College, Pilkhani. Due to gunpowder in the factory, the fire spread so fast that no one could handle it and there was a scream. Several vehicles parked outside the factory were also gutted in the fire.
Firefighters battling for several hours
After getting information about the incident, firefighters along with the police reached the spot and struggled for several hours to extinguish the fire. Many people have suffered serious burns in the horrific fire, so the death toll may increase.
SSP gave this information
SSP Akash Tomar has confirmed that three people died on the spot in the incident. These include factory license holder Rahul Kumar, resident of village Salempur. The SSP said that the injured are being treated at the district hospital and medical college. Many have been referred.
District Magistrate gave instructions for better treatment
After the incident, District Magistrate Akhilesh Singh has given directions to the Health Department for better treatment of the people who were hit. The way the explosion took place and the fire spread all around, everything got burnt. Could be pulled out later. However, some people are still feared trapped under the rubble. Rescue work is being done by the fire brigade at the spot.
