When TMC launched the One Man One Post initiative in June last year, the I-PAC company also gave its approval and was supported by many young activists. It was also advocated by CM Mamta Banerjee. But now questions have arisen within the party regarding the claims of One Man One Post. This initiative created a big controversy. Due to the One Man One Post initiative, an internal war started within TMC.
Sporadic protests were held in several districts of the state on Saturday over the candidate list of the Trinamool Congress for the West Bengal civic polls. Dissatisfied with the selection of candidates for 108 municipalities of the state, activists took to the streets to protest. These workers raised slogans in protest and burnt tyres. The allegations and counter-allegations started on Prashant Kishor’s organization I-PAC regarding the list and the protests. At the same time, the matter of dispute directly between Mamta Banerjee and Prashant Kishor came to the fore.
