According to the Patna Meteorological Center, the mercury will go up further in the coming days. Many districts including Motihari, Khagaria and Banka are under severe heat and heatwave conditions. The possibility of heat wave has been expressed in 11 districts including Patna and Bhagalpur.

Patna Meteorological Center’s scientist Ashish Kumar Singh said that till April 19 there will be heat wave-like conditions in Bihar. However, after April 21, the temperature is expected to drop below 40 degree Celsius. This will happen due to the commencement of thunderstorm and rain activities in North India. A drop in temperature is expected from April 22. Till then the havoc of the scorching sun will continue.
IMD alerted about heatwave
The Patna Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert for the next three days regarding the scorching heat. This alert has been issued for many districts including Patna, Banka, Jamui, Nawada and Supaul. In such a situation, it is important that people do not leave the house if it is not necessary. If you go out, then do consume water and liquid things from time to time.

43 or above mercury in these districts
The five districts where the maximum temperature crossed 43 include Sheikhpura, Patna, Gaya, Dehri, Khagaria. It was 43.4 degrees Celsius in Sheikhpura, 43.2 in Khagaria, 43.2 in Patna, 43.2 in Dehri and 43 in Gaya on Monday.
