Originally from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Dr. NP Mishra completed his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal and later started teaching here in 1969-70.
In a few years he also became the director of the Department of Medicine and then the dean of the college. It is said that in the 1980s, his popularity had increased so much that there was not even a place to set foot in one of his programs in Gwalior. At that time everyone wanted to hear him.
