AAP won 27 councilors
Surat Municipal Corporation has a total of 120 seats. Gujarat civic elections were held in 2021. Of these, AAP won 27 seats in the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC). BJP councilors won on 93. The Congress had failed to win any seat.
Number of BJP members is 103
With the joining of 10 corporators from the Aam Aadmi Party, now the number of BJP members has gone up to 103. At the same time, the number of councilors of Aam Aadmi Party has come down from 27 to 17.
Another councilor accused the education minister
