During pregnancy, there are many changes in the skin and this is due to the increase of progesterone and estrogen hormones. Because of this, the skin around the nipple may become dark in color as well as itchy. If you are also having itching on the breast or nipple during pregnancy, then some of the home remedies mentioned here can reduce or eliminate your problem.
lotion will work
Apply a good moisturizing lotion on the breast and nipple. The lotion should contain cocoa butter, vitamin E oil, aloe vera and calamine. It can help in reducing the itching on the skin. Do not apply lotion with fragrance or alcohol as it can dry the skin.

hot water bath
Bathing with hot water can dry out your skin. Instead, take a bath with lukewarm or cold water. Do not take a shower for more than ten to fifteen minutes because staying in water too long can dry out the skin.
Dr Harry Dao, assistant professor of dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, says that itching is common on dry skin and the skin becomes dry when bathing with hot water. Doctor Harry recommends bathing with lukewarm water instead of hot, especially in the winter season.
