Uttarakhand News: The Union Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has launched a pilot project for helicopter emergency medical services in India. Its main objective is to provide immediate medical services to the injured. Uttarakhand News: Air ambulance will be provided to Rishikesh AIIMS
Under this project, a party was selected to provide one helicopter in air ambulance capacity at AIIMS Rishikesh Helipad for a period of one year. (Uttarakhand News) This unprecedented project, which is scheduled to be launched soon, will serve as a blueprint for other states along with Odisha. (Uttarakhand News) Apart from this, Madhya Pradesh is also expressing keen interest in similar services.
Let us tell you that this helicopter will have a stretcher and necessary medical equipment. Medical control and direction will be supervised by AIIMS Rishikesh, ensuring availability of necessary medical supplies as per the patient's condition.
First air ambulance service started in Madhya Pradesh
The ministry aims to expand HEMS across the country and create an integrated network, which will complement land-based ambulances and significantly increase access to trauma care. Madhya Pradesh on Saturday inaugurated integrated air ambulance services, the state's air ambulance service will be based in Bhopal. The comprehensive service, comprising heli-ambulances and a fixed-wing air ambulance, trained doctors and paramedics, aims to cover all districts and administrative divisions of the state.
