Mumbai Indians: Players retained and released
Last-placed 5-time champions Mumbai Indians have retained 10 players while releasing 5 players this year. Rohit Sharma, Devald Brewis, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Daniel Sams, Tim David, Jofra Archer, Jasprit Bumrah, Tristan Stubbs and Tilak Verma are among those who will be seen donning the MI shirt again next season. At the same time, Fabian Allen, Kieron Pollard, Tymal Mills, Mayank Markande and Hrithik Shokin have been released.
Jadeja will remain with CSK
Chennai Super Kings have managed to retain Ravindra Jadeja with them. Chris Jordan, Adam Milne and Mitchell Santner were released. Last year’s season of Chennai Super Kings was also not good. Mini auction on 23 December
The upcoming IPL 2023 mini-auction is set to take place in Kochi on December 23, with teams finalizing the details of the 16th edition of the cash-rich league. November 15 is the deadline given by the BCCI for all the franchises to submit their list of retained and released players. According to Zee 24 Taas, MI and CSK have already submitted their respective lists to BCCI.
