The condition of John Abraham’s film ‘Attack’ is bad at the box office (Attack Box Office Collection Day 4). The business of this film has fallen badly on the first Monday in the First Monday Test. The film did a business of just Rs 1.60 crore on the fourth day of its release. In this way, the total earning of the film in four days is Rs 11.60 crore. This is a drop of more than 50 percent compared to the opening day. The condition of the film is bad. In the storm of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, ‘Attack’ is nowhere to be found. The film is giving the audience a video game-like feel along with high octane action. The critics also did not give a very good response to the film. However, the way John has brought a superhero on the Indian screen like in Hollywood films, his courage should also be praised.
The biggest problem with ‘Attack’ is that it is a film targeting an entirely urban audience. Multiplex audience is already in the craze of RRR. In such a situation, ‘Attack’ did not get an audience from day one in big cities. In single screen theaters in Tier-II cities of the country, the audience rejected the ‘Attack’ outright. This is the reason that the film could only do a business of 3.25 crores on the opening day. The next day on Saturday, there was no increase in the film’s earnings. Here too the film did a business of 3.25 crores.
There is no prospect of further earnings growth
The film was expected to do great business on Sunday. This is also because while there is a ruckus for RRR tickets, it is quite possible that some viewers will come to watch ‘Attack’ by splashing. Apart from this, John Abraham’s fan following was also expected that he would hit the theaters on Sunday. But it didn’t happen. On Sunday, the film did a business of only Rs 3.50 crore. Whereas now the film’s earnings have fallen to 1.60 crores on Monday. In this way, the total earnings of the film in four days could be only 11.60 crores. The sad part is that there is no sign of any further growth in the film’s earnings. The film doesn’t seem to be earning very far.
