Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said on Sunday that the demand for reopening of schools in the state would be considered in the next 10-15 days, as the cases of corona virus infection among children are less and the education of students is less. damage is being done. Schools have been closed in Maharashtra till February 15 due to the increase in the cases of Covid-19 in the state.

Regarding the current situation of the epidemic, the Health Minister said that the cases are increasing in Maharashtra, however, the number of patients hospitalized and cases requiring oxygen are less. On the occasion of the first anniversary of the Covid vaccination, the State Health Minister said that 10-15 percent of the eligible people in Maharashtra are yet to be vaccinated, as vaccination is voluntary.

The death rate related to Covid-19 in the state is 1.96 percent while the recovery rate from the infection is 94.3 percent.
