As long as the person does not want, no one’s physical, financial and mental troubles can defeat him. If you have passion in your heart and desire to achieve something, then everything is possible. A person writes his own destiny with his own hard work and a unique example of the same is Samyak Jain, who secured rank 7 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Samyak Jain cannot see UPSC Topper and despite this, today he is included in the UPSC Topper list.
Success in second attempt
Samyak hails from Delhi and this was his second attempt in UPSC. He did his schooling from Delhi itself, after that he did his graduation in English Honors from Open Learning. After this he did a course in English Journalism from IIMC and then went to JNU. He did his MA degree in International Relations from JNU.
Preparations started in Corona
It was the time of Corona when everyone was imprisoned in their homes and schools and colleges were also locked. In such a situation, Samyak got a chance to study for 7-8 hours every day and with this he started his UPSC Journey. However, Samyak did not get success in his first attempt. But he did not give up and kept on preparing.
mother and friend turned writer
During JNU, Samyak noticed that everyone around him was preparing for UPSC. There he understood the Civil Services Examination and started preparing. Samyak’s mother helped him to write the prelims exam and a friend of his became a writer for the mains exam. He says that the support of his parents was very important especially his mother for the examination. Samyak says that he was overjoyed to see the result and it seems like a dream come true for him. They believe that getting ranked in single digit is like a dream come true. It is difficult to express feelings through words.
