GLA University, Mathura, which aims to make every student enterprising and employable, has been ranked in the Excellent Band Bank of 46 private universities in the country in the Atal Ranking for Innovation, Startup and Entrepreneurship Development. The authenticity of this rank shows how great an ecosystem GLA has for innovation, entrepreneurship and startups for students.
Recently, the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) prepared by the Union Ministry of Education and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was released by Dr. Subhash Sarkar, Minister of State for Education. For the first time in this ranking, GLA University, Mathura has secured an excellent bad rake by registering its name in the list of top 46 private universities in the country. This rank is awarded to all the leading higher educational institutions and universities in India for doing outstanding work related to innovation and entrepreneurship development among students and faculty members.
It may be noted that 42 startups have been started in the university through GLA NewGen IEDC. Out of which 5 startups are operating in different states of the country and 37 startups are providing better services by connecting with the people from the university itself. Apart from this, initiative has been taken to promote by providing 1 lakh 80 thousand to 5 lakh as financial assistance to more than 100 startups in the coming years through the incubator center established in GLA.

Chancellor Narayan Das Agrawal informed that 72 innovative prototypes have been prepared so far in GLA University. 37 Startups are still working in GLA, in which more than 14 teams have registered themselves in Private Limited Company. Some teams are trying to get themselves registered. The startup teams working in GLA are provided with Trademolean E-Cycle Pvt Ltd as per their requirement. Foodwagon Pvt Ltd Financial assistance has been provided to Cyber Imposters. Trademolon E-Cycle Pvt Ltd registered at Startup Launch Pad. Trade e-cycle is being manufactured by Foodwagon Pvt Ltd State-of-the-art handcarts are being constructed for the handcarts on the street side. Also in the last 5 years the university has filed 270 patents out of which 225 have been published, 15 have been approved.
GLA Chief Executive Officer Neeraj Aggarwal said on the achievement of the university that this is just the beginning. In the coming years, GLA aims to be among the top ranked players in the Atal Ranking. For this, the students and teachers of the university have gathered with hard work. For this achievement, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Anoop Kumar Gupta, Chief Coordinator of NewGen IEDC Dr. Manoj Kumar and other officials of the University including Jeetendra Kumar, Abhishek Pratap Gautam, who were in the team have appreciated the efforts.
