Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue: The lives of 40 laborers are in trouble for the last 9 days in Uttarkashi Tunnel of Uttarakhand. Lives of workers trapped in tunnel
In which about 40 people got trapped, the administration is carrying out several operations to get all those people out of the tunnel. But till now the administration has not got any success in this. Even now all the workers are fighting a battle between life and death in the tunnel.
Recently, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had inspected the tunnel and after the inspection they had said that now work is going on on six options and this operation may take another two to two and a half days.
Relief operation is going on war footing
For information, let us tell you that a rescue operation is being conducted on a war footing by the administration to rescue the workers trapped in the tunnel. However, till now the administration has not got any success in this.
Let us inform that along with this, drilling remained closed on Sunday also to prepare escape passage for the workers. Preparations are being made to lay another larger diameter pipe to deliver food items and other important materials to the workers trapped in the tunnel.
State Disaster Management Secretary Ranjit Kumar Sinha said that preparations are underway to restart the agar machine for drilling the tunnel and laying pipes in it. Apart from the pipe that is supplying food to the trapped people, another larger diameter pipe has been inserted 42 meters deep into the debris. So that essential things can be delivered to them. He further said that due to the uneven geological level in the Himalayas, mechanical operations are challenging here.
