Elon Musk in action
Musk completed the deal to buy Twitter late last month. With this he came into action. First, he ousted several executives, including the Indian-origin CEO of the company, Parag Agarwal, and then dissolved the board to take complete command of the company. Twitter had around 7,500 employees worldwide, out of which around 3,800 employees have been fired. In India, the company had thrown out 90 percent of its employees. According to Platformer and Axios, the company is now laying off contract employees.
