It will not come up in the calculator
According to media reports, the most expensive thing ever built in the world is the International Space Station. The value of this space station is about $ 150 billion i.e. $ 15 thousand crore. If it is estimated in rupees, then even the calculator will not be able to calculate it.
Millions of dollars are spent to maintain the International Space Station
According to reports, NASA has to spend $ 400 million every year to maintain the International Space Center. The entire system of the space station was so difficult to setup that many countries had to contribute in building this space center. America, Russia, Europe, Canada and Japan had given funds to build this center. If you are thinking that the space center is studded with diamonds or precious gems that is why it is so expensive, then you are wrong. In fact, the space station’s lab, and other facilities are so modern that all these money have been spent in making them.
Know who lives here
The International Space Station launched in November 2000. In this, there are astronauts from different countries who live in space and study on other planets. According to the US space agency, the space station is orbiting about 410 kilometers above the Earth. A few months ago, a team of astronauts did a space walk to upgrade the solar panels of the ISS. These new solar panels are designed in such a way that it can be laid on a red carpet surface, which is completely different from the old one.
This country built its own space station
China has set up its own space station to compete with the US-led ISS. China’s T-shaped space station is named Tianhe. The most important module of this center was launched on 29 April. Even at this time many Chinese astronauts are present on this space station. It is expected to be fully operational by early next year.
