An electric bike from Hyderabad-based electric vehicle startup company Gravton Motors has created a unique and spectacular record, about which you will also be surprised to know. The company’s Quanta electric two-wheeler has set a new record by completing 4011 kms in a record time. According to the company, this electric vehicle covered the distance from Kanyakumari to Khardung La (Ladakh) in just 164 hours and 30 minutes i.e. less than 7 days. Like these figures, it has entered its name in the Asia Book of Records.
Distance covered without battery charge
According to the information, this ride started from Kanyakumari on 13 September 2021 and covered the distance till Khardung La on 20 September 2021. What makes this journey even more special is that this electric two-wheeler does not stop anywhere for battery charging. According to the company, the team covered this distance without any charging stop, as the bike works on swappable battery technology. That is, when the battery is discharged, it is replaced by a charged battery and the time taken for charging can be saved.
Gets range of 320km
A 3KW motor has been used in this electric bike, which generates a maximum torque of 172 Nm. In this bike you will get three riding modes – City, Sports and Eco. This bike from Gravton Motors can cover a distance of up to 150 km in Eco mode. On the other hand, with dual battery, you can get a long range of up to 320KM.
