Looks and Design
Hero Xoom 110 looks like a very dashing scooter. Not only this, you will really like this scooter at first sight and the front side will look like Hero Vida V1 Pro. However, not everything will look like the Vida as the LED treatment has been given to the headlight and taillight which looks great and you get to see the signature H design here. The switch gears are also not very special but they are of decent quality. You will love the paint finish. Digital instrument cluster is available and storage space has also been given very well.
Ride & Handling
The Hero Xoom is powered by the same engine that you find in the Maestro Edge 110. This engine is a 110.9cc single-cylinder engine that generates 8bhp power and 8.7Nm torque. However, the engine mapping has been slightly tuned which results in better torque. However, even in driving, you will not see much difference from Maestro. The performance of the engine is very good in the 110cc segment and you do not find it tired even in city traffic. During this first ride, we have driven the scooter only 40-50 kms and during this time if we talk about ride quality, then you will not get comfortable ride quality on bumpy roads.
You get the same suspension as the Maestro Edge 110. Braking is good and if you want to travel somewhere sitting on the pillion seat or want to drive someone, then there will be no problem. The special thing is that you also get a 12-inch rear tyre. We could not check the mileage properly, but if you drive decently in the real time indicator, then you can see this scooter showing mileage of more than 45 kmpl.
features
Hero Xoom is new now so if you are looking for unique features in a scooter then Xoom is definitely for you. This is because this scooter has given the first such feature in the segment, due to which you can enjoy the cornering lights found in the car. However, here this technology only works on motion. These lights will work only if you lean the scooter. Will not work while standing. Apart from this, the Idle-Start-Stop system (i3S) has been given in it, which you can also turn off through the switch. More than 19 liters of boot space is available, which also has boot light and you can also keep a small size full face helmet here. Apart from this, Bluetooth connectivity has been provided in the instrument cluster.
Price and Verdict:
Hero Xoom 110 is certainly one of the sporty scooters in its segment and its price starts from Rs.68,599 (ex-showroom) which goes all the way up to Rs.76,699 (ex-showroom) for the top variant ZX. Now at this price you have to shell out Rs 8,000 extra for the top variant, so you get extra features like cornering lights, i3S technology and premium alloy wheels. Not only this, the performance of the scooter is also very good.
