In the match, Umran Malik bowled 2.1 overs in which he took two big wickets for just 9 runs. Apart from Umran, captain Hardik Pandya took 4 wickets for 16 runs in 4 overs while Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav and Shivam Mavi also got two successes each.
New Zealand team scattered in front of Team India’s target
In the third T20 match against New Zealand, Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bat first. Although Ishaan Kishan returned to the pavilion cheaply in the match, but after that Shubman Gill took the lead from one end for Team India and batted till the end, scoring an unbeaten 126 runs. With the help of this century innings of Shubman, Team India scored a huge score of 234 runs in 20 overs.
Chasing the target, the hands and feet of the Kiwi team’s batsman started swelling from the very first over. Then what was there, on seeing the score of just 5 runs, the Indian bowlers took three wickets. By reaching 25 runs, half of the New Zealand team had returned to the pavilion. In this way the visiting team got all out after scoring just 66 runs in 12.1 overs. With the last wicket of New Zealand, Team India named the series 2-1 along with the match.
With this, the Indian team won the match by 168 runs. This is also the biggest win of Team India in T20 International.
