Discussion of Fadnavis, about 700 km from Mumbai

Responding to a question whether Fadnavis would attend the working committee meeting, he said he would not be able to attend as he would be present in the assembly session. The two-day special session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly will begin from July 3. The election for the post of Speaker of the Legislative Assembly will be held on July 3. The nomination papers for the post will be accepted till 12 noon on July 2.
Possibility of voting on confidence motion during the session
In a cabinet meeting chaired by Eknath Shinde on Thursday, soon after taking oath as the new chief minister of the state, it was decided that a special session of the assembly would be held on July 2 and 3. However, now the dates have been rescheduled. Voting on the confidence motion is also likely to take place during the session.

Although posters of all the big leaders of BJP and Chief Ministers have been put up at the meeting place, but Fadnavis was seen in only one poster, where there was a small picture of him.
