Cattaneo’s sister was the first to see Zarate’s body. She was continuously calling him but there was no response from the front. The sister claimed that on Sunday, Cattaneo arrived at her mother’s house covered in blood. Seeing this, she got scared and hurriedly ran towards his apartment. Zarate’s body was recovered on Tuesday. Zarate’s Facebook says he was an actor and was involved with a local reggae band, The Daily Beast reported.

Both have a five year old child. At present, the woman has been sent for psychiatric assessment. Zarate’s body was found in the couple’s flat in Altos de San Lorenzo, DailyMail reported. The private part of the dead body was cut and a knife was inserted in its eye. Cattaneo’s sister told local media that the accused woman was arrested on 11 January. She reached her mother’s house by taxi in a blood-soaked condition.

When Cattaneo’s sister found the body, it had knife wounds all over its body and was completely covered in blood. Cattaneo has been admitted to the psychiatric ward of a medical center in La Plata where he will be tested. Investigators and prosecutors say she will not be prosecuted if she is found to be mentally ill. Reports quoting neighbors said that the two had been living together for over a decade and had got married in 2017.
