On Tuesday, there was a virtual bilateral meeting between US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Both countries are working to improve their relations with each other, both countries have withdrawn the restrictions imposed on each other’s media persons and provided some relaxation to the media persons. According to the information, both the leaders took this decision during the virtual meeting.
According to a report, the US and China will issue multiple entry visas of up to one year to each other’s media persons, for this, all the necessary procedures will be completed very soon. According to the information, after the agreement between the two countries, now China will also treat American media persons as normal and according to the agreement, both the countries will give visas to the media persons according to each other’s laws and regulations.

China, which is currently committed to granting visas to a group of American media persons, will provide visas in accordance with all established laws and regulations. A statement has been issued from the US that we will issue visas to those Chinese media persons who are eligible according to US law. China has agreed to extend the visas of American media persons from 90 days to one year.
Let us tell you that last year the US had announced to limit the number of visas issued to Chinese state media persons in view of its differences with China. In response to this move of America, China removed all media persons working for American outlets from their posts and after that both the countries tightened the rules for each other. Due to this, the workers working in both the countries were facing a lot of problems.
