V Muraleedharan, Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, visited Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, located in East Africa, for two days from November 14 to 15. Where a roadmap was drawn up to strengthen India-Rwanda relations on a wide range of bilateral, regional and international problems. V. Muraleedharan also met Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame. Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan co-chaired the first India-Rwanda Joint Commission Meeting (JCM) held in Kigali.

President Kagame congratulates PM Modi
MoS MEA V Muraleedharan said that set up with our development partnership assistance, the center will help in capacity building and promote the spirit of entrepreneurship in Rwanda. During the visit, the Minister called on the President of the Republic of Rwanda, Paul Kagame. President Kagame congratulated Prime Minister Modi and talked about the strategic partnership between India and Rwanda. President Paul Kagame also invited the minister to attend the CHOGM summit to be held in Rwanda in 2022.
