China turned down the request
China claims it was a balloon used for meteorological research, but declined to say which government department or company it belonged to. The US, however, claimed that it had enough evidence to prove that it was a spy balloon. Pentagon spokesman General Pat Ryder said on Tuesday, ‘On Saturday, immediately after the PRC took action to shoot down the balloon, a request was made for a phone conversation between Defense Secretary Austin and Defense Minister Wei Fenghe of the PRC (People’s Republic of China)’ to be done.’
America broke the law
“We believe in the need to maintain communication between the US and the PRC in order to responsibly conduct the relationship,” he said. At such a time, communication services between our forces are extremely important. “Unfortunately, China did not accept the request,” the spokesperson said. Our commitment to establish communication services will continue. The US has accused China of violating American sovereignty and international law.
China warned
At the same time, China says that the US has violated international law by downing its balloon and warned that it will use its right to take appropriate action in response. China has warned America after this whole episode. This balloon was seen in Montana, USA. This is the place where America tests ballistic missiles for its forces. Along with this, a stockpile of his nuclear missiles is also kept here.
