The city has become a hell on earth
Ukrainian soldier Petro Volosenko said, ‘Now this city has become hell on earth. I have no words to describe its circumstances. He said that the city was gradually almost destroyed and the buildings were lying deserted and the windows, doors and roofs of the houses were damaged. Volosenko said that before the war the population of the city of Bakhmut was about 80,000, while at present there are only a few thousand people left.

He said that even the survivors can hardly see the light as they too are forced to hide in the tunnels for safety reasons. He said that the echo of the explosions could still be heard in the city. February 24 will mark one year of the Russia-Ukraine war. Ukraine has had an upper hand in the war so far because Western countries are providing it with weapons on a large scale. In the last one year, the warnings of Russian President Vladimir Putin have also proved ineffective.
