Donald Trump Case: Former US President Donald Trump is facing indictment in the theft of secret documents. Trump called the US Justice Department “corrupt”. He has so far attended the Republican Convention in two states, Georgia and North Carolina. Republicans won both these seats in the Senate in the last election. In Greensboro, North Carolina, Trump told his supporters that “you’re dealing with lunatics.” He termed the basis of the Justice Department’s indictment order as baseless.
Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump accused the Biden administration of using the Justice Department as a weapon in what will go down in US history as “one of the most appalling abuses of power.” Earlier, in front of his supporters in Columbus, Georgia, Trump said that he was dragged to court because he is in the race for a second term in the White House.
