    TLP workers and police clash in Pakistan’s Punjab province, three policemen killed

    The situation in Pakistan is deteriorating continuously for the last few days, in the Punjab province of Pakistan, the activists of the organization Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan have started a protest against the government of Imran Khan. It is being told that this protest may gradually spread across Pakistan. This violent protest started when the Imran government had rejected the TLP’s demand, let us tell you, the TLP had demanded the Imran government to release his party chief Saad Rizvi and the French ambassador to be expelled from Pakistan. .

    It is reported that TLP which is a banned organization has traveled to Islamabad. During this, when the police tried to stop them, there was a very violent clash between the two. It is being told that at present 10-15 thousand workers of TLP organization are present with Kamunke. These people have all kinds of modern weapons, it is heard that TLP supporters used AK-47 on the police.

    Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid told in the press conference that the TLP organization has now taken a fierce form, Rashid said that they also opened fire on the policemen in which three policemen died. More than 70 people have been injured in this firing and the condition of 8 people remains critical. He further informed that the government has deployed Rangers in Punjab province to protect the public.

    In November 2020, French President Emmanuel Macro called the display of a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed in the classroom free of expression. Since his statement, the TLP has been demanding the expulsion of all French ambassadors from Pakistan. In April this year, the TLP had protested against the same demand, after which the police took TLP chief Saad Rizvi into custody.

On Sunday, the TLP had given two days’ express to the Imran government to meet their demands. The TLP also warned the government that if it did not accept their demands, they would face protests in Islamabad. At the end of two days’ time, the TLP ordered its workers to march to Islamabad.

    According to a report, the government has deployed police and security forces at various places to stop the TLP. In addition, internet and mobile services have been temporarily suspended from Muridke to Gujranwala area of ​​Punjab province and 10,000 policemen from Lahore have been called to Islamabad so that the government can respond to every TLP demonstration.
