An Indonesian boy of only two years became a chain smoker and smoked 40 cigarettes a day. The name of this child is Ardi Rizal and he is from Sumatra. When this child quit smoking 7 years ago, his whole body changed. After quitting the bad habit of smoking cigarettes, now this child is not being recognized. This child is being discussed all over the world.
Due to chain smoking, Ardi’s condition was such that he used to bang his head against the wall when he could not get a cigarette. In the year 2010, his picture inhaling smoke while smoking a cigarette became a topic of discussion around the world. Despite the arduous process of quitting cigarettes, Ardi has successfully completed it and now eats fruits and vegetables. This has brought a revolutionary change in his body.
Father gave him cigarette for the first time at the age of 18 months
Ardi said in a 2017 interview with CNN, ‘It was very difficult for me to quit cigarettes. If I did not smoke cigarettes, my test of my mouth would get spoiled and my head would start feeling dizzy. After giving up the cigarette now, he said, ‘I am happy now. I have become more enthusiastic. My body is feeling refreshed now. The sad part was that Ardi’s own father made him smoke for the first time when he was just 18 months old.
After this, when Ardi started banging his head for not getting a cigarette, his mother Diane sought help from the government’s ICU specialist. Diane said that when Ardi first gave up a cigarette, he started banging his head against the wall. He had gone mad and was killing himself for not getting a cigarette. After that I had to give him a cigarette. Although it is not so now, I no longer give him cigarettes but he eats heavily.
