NASA’s satellite has released a picture of the eruption of a volcano inside the ocean. This picture is from May 14, which was taken by NASA’s Landsat-9 satellite. It is seen in the picture that the underwater volcano is erupting and its dust has faded the color of the water. This satellite is designed to take high resolution pictures of the earth.
The picture is of Kawachi Volcano. It is one of the most active submarines in the Pacific Ocean off the Solomon Islands. It is located about 24 km south of the island named Wangunu. A 2015 discovery revealed that Kawachi is home to two shark species. These sharks are living here in this dangerous, hot and acidic water.
