Spike was found in the parking lot
Spike’s owner, Rita Kimball, says she found him in a parking lot. She was returning with groceries and Spike was in the parking lot. At that time, he had no idea that Spike would be a part of his life even after 13 years. At the time Spike found Rita, she was 10 years old. Rita decides right then and there that she will bring Spike home and keep him at her farmhouse. They did not know whose pet dog Spike was or how he had reached the parking lot.
Spike was in pretty bad shape
Spike’s back was completely peeled, with blood stains on his back that had been caused by some chain or rope. He was in a very bad condition. The clerk at the ration shop told him that he had been in the same parking lot for the past three days. He was being given leftover food by the people present in the ration shop. As Rita walked through the store, Spike followed behind.
Then when he opened the car door for his grandson, Spike jumped into the car. According to Rita, Spike looked like he knew where he was going. After this he did not feel like leaving Spike alone.
can’t see, can’t hear
Rita says that Spike is a calm and very sweet dog. It only becomes aggressive when someone else touches it. He makes friends very quickly. But Spike doesn’t see well and has a hard time hearing. Sometimes he feels like being alone, so he does not listen to anyone.
