In Bangladesh, a case of vandalism inside temples has come to the fore, according to Sona, it has been learned that some fundamentalists vandalized the Durga Puja pandal on the holy festival of Durga Puja. Since then, riots broke out in Bangladesh, so far three people have lost their lives in the riots and many people have been injured. To control this situation, the Bangladesh government has deployed paramilitary forces in 22 districts.
In the investigation so far it has come to the fore that a temple in Kamila was attacked after rumors, due to which there was a lot of violence, which the police later tried to control. This rumor spread like wild fire, and soon this violent clash spread to Hajiganj in Chandpur, Banshkhali in Chattogram and Pekua in Cox’s Bazar. From place to place, incidents of vandalism in temples started coming to the fore, and very soon it turned into riots.

According to a report received from the media, the rioters also attacked the police administration, the police somehow handled the situation. In this clash, three people lost their lives and many people got serious injuries. When the situation appeared to be getting out of the hands of the police, then the soldiers of Rapid Action Battalion and Paramilitary Force Border Guard Bangladesh took command.
Paramilitary forces have been deployed in 22 districts. Bangladesh’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued a notice urging people not to take the law into their own hands. Paramilitary Force Border Guard Bangladesh Director of Operations Lt Col Faizur Rahman said that on the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, paramilitary force personnel have been deployed to maintain security at Durga Puja pandals.
