Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijan made these remarks in response to a question on the progress of dialogue between the two countries regarding China’s position on the current situation on the India-China border and on Monday’s remarks by Foreign Minister Wang Yi. On Monday, Foreign Minister Wang said China and India “maintained dialogue through diplomatic and military means, and effectively managed and controlled conflicts in some border areas as part of a shared commitment to improve and develop bilateral relations”. has done.”
Wang’s statement came amid the ongoing border dispute between the two countries in eastern Ladakh.
