Sharif’s Kashmir statement
In the statement given by Sharif, he has said that Pakistan wants to live in peace with India. They believe that only after this they can get rid of the problems. Shahbaz said, ‘I want to talk to resolve other burning issues like Kashmir, where human rights abuses continue.’ Sharif said in the same interview that human rights are being violated daily in Kashmir and the Government of India has abolished Article 370 here. Along with this, Sharif also claimed that the minorities are being mistreated on a large scale in Jammu and Kashmir, this has to be stopped.
what do you want from india
Sharif’s statement was very big but he did not tell what he wanted from India. Pakistan has already pointed out that the Government of India will have to return the old status of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistani journalists Javed Chaudhary and Hamid Mir had recently revealed that Pakistan wanted to negotiate behind the scenes for the Kashmir issue.
Before Sharif, his brother and former PM of the country Nawaz has also given similar statements. He has said many times that Pakistan wants peace with India. Also, for the country’s economy, it wants normal relations with India. But this is the first time a PM has admitted that Pakistan has learned a lesson and there is unemployment and poverty in the country because of three wars with India.
different things of the army chief
Before Sharif, a statement on the same lines was given by former Pakistan Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa. Bajwa had said in one of his speeches in the year 2021 that relations between India and Pakistan should improve. At the same time, he advocated increasing trade between the two countries. And recently, Pakistan’s new General Asim Munir has only said that if Pakistan is attacked, it will be answered.

After Sharif’s statement, a clarifying statement also came from his office. It said that there would be no compromise on illegal action by India in Kashmir. After this, it was believed that the PM’s remarks have been taken seriously by the Pakistan Army. The army has not liked Sharif’s talk of ‘lessons from three wars’. On behalf of Pakistan’s PMO, it was said, ‘Nothing is possible until India withdraws the special status of Kashmir.’
Pakistan aware of the truth
Pakistan’s economic difficulties have increased a lot in the last few years. Because of this, he is engaged in increasing relations with West Asia. Also increasing contact with UAE and Dubai which are now closer to India. Pakistan’s political and military leadership is well aware that India will not reverse its historic decision taken on August 5, 2019 on Jammu and Kashmir. He knows that he will not be heard at all on Jammu and Kashmir. Normal relations between India and Pakistan are not that easy, especially when the people of these countries see each other as enemies.
