Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a grand welcome in Australia.
When US President Joe Biden asked for an autograph, the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea touched his feet in respect. Now the sting of popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Australia was such that the Australian PM called him ‘The Boss’. Due to all these reasons, one neighboring country has got chilly and the other has kept silence.
Seeing the grandeur with which PM Modi was welcomed in Australia, the eyes of Pakistan and China were also opened. While the Pakistani media expressed its ‘pity’ and described this tour as the compulsion of the Australian PM, the Chinese media did not open its mouth about it.
‘Don’ raised the issue of China
Pakistan’s leading newspaper ‘Dawn’ talked about the G20 meeting being held in India on its front page. He claimed that Pakistan has turned down India’s proposal to resume talks. Criticizing PM Modi’s Australian tour, ‘Dawn’ wrote on its editorial page, ‘Supporter of fascism’. In this article, an attempt was made to exaggerate the support of a handful of people in Australia and those who spread Khalistani propaganda. In this article, India’s neutrality on the Russia-Ukraine war was described as silence.

Questions were also raised on the western countries which are praising PM Modi. The article tried to allege that western countries have deliberately turned a blind eye to PM Modi and its leaders are embracing him. Writer Mahir Ali said that this is a matter of great concern. ‘Dawn’ itself wrote in its news that Australian PM Anthony Albanese has a compulsion that he has to compete with China. For this reason, he is doing ‘Rockstar Welcome’ of PM Modi.
G20 cry
Pakistan’s second leading newspaper ‘The Tribune’ even cried for the G20 meeting being held in Srinagar. The newspaper raised the point of participation of Turkey, China and Saudi Arabia in the G20 meeting. Titled his editorial, ‘G20 Hua G17’. This newspaper indirectly criticized Albanese on PM Modi’s Australian tour. Titled, ‘Australia welcomes ‘The Boss’ Modi’.
China kept silent
China’s official media Global Times and China Daily remained silent on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Australia. Although China Daily criticized the G7 conference, but did not mention anything about India.
