Pakistani army also reacted
Along with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto also felt pain on the sentence of terrorist Yasin Malik. Bilawal Bhutto tweeted, ‘Strongly condemn the unjust punishment of Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik through a sham trial. India can never silence the voice of freedom and self-determination of Kashmiris. Pakistan is with the Kashmiri brothers and sisters and will continue to extend all possible support in their just struggle.
Pakistan’s army has also given its reaction on this matter. Pakistan’s DG-ISPR tweeted, ‘Pakistan strongly condemns the sentence of life imprisonment to Yasin Malik on a fabricated charge. Such repressive tactics cannot dampen the spirit of the people of Kashmir in the struggle against illegal Indian occupation. We stand with them in their quest for self-determination as per UNSCR.
Pakistan kept pleading till UN
Pakistan directly gives help to terrorists. But he is always engaged in saving them also. Celebrities of Pakistan have been continuously pleading with the United Nations to save Yasin Malik. Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi tweeted in support of Yasin Malik and demanded that the UN should intervene in this matter. Along with Shahid Afridi, MP Naaz Baloch and journalist Hamid Mir had also appealed to the UN to save Yasin in this case.
