The Pakistani spokesperson said that six officials deputed to look after the pilgrims in India have also been denied visas. He said that out of six, only one official has been allowed to accompany the zyreen (pilgrims). The spokesperson said all the pilgrims have been informed through SMS to reach Lahore from where they will leave for India on Tuesday.
Pak pilgrims keep coming to India
The reason why these visa applications were rejected is not clear. Muslim pilgrims from Pakistan come to India to visit shrines such as Hazrat Khwaja Nizamuddin Auliya, Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and Hazrat Amir Khusrau. People from India also go to Pakistan to visit Kartarpur Sahib and other ancient gurudwaras and temples. But there is a danger of sleeper cell reaching India in the passengers coming from Pakistan.
spies network near pakistan army
The Pakistan Army has a large network of spies on the Pakistan border in Rajasthan. Often the Indian Army catches them from the border. These spies come to India and live like ordinary people. From here these spies send intelligence and sensitive information to Pakistan. Pakistani army sends people to India for petty greed to do espionage, which is called ‘sleeper cell’. Pak intelligence agency sometimes contacts people in India whose relatives are in Pakistan to make agents.
