Islamabad : Burden of foreign debt and lack of food and drink, the condition of India’s neighboring country Pakistan is getting worse day by day. Pak PM Shahbaz Sharif sometimes asks for people from China and Saudi Arabia and sometimes cries his sorrow in Europe. But the Government of Pakistan is oblivious to the fact that the real ‘treasure’ is hidden in its own country. If this is taken out, then the poverty of the country can be removed very easily. We are talking about the most neglected province of Pakistan, Balochistan. After all, what is there in this troubled state that everyone, from the British to the country’s government, has been interested in it.
Beneath the sands of Balochistan, natural minerals are present in huge quantities. Here uranium, gold, copper, petrol, natural gas and other metals are present which are not less than any treasure. But this treasure is the biggest enemy of the Balochs. The Government of Pakistan wants to change its fortunes by giving this treasure to China. In the name of investment and infrastructure, China wants to acquire this treasure, which the Baloch oppose. Violent clashes and attacks often take place in this area, in which Chinese civilians and Baloch insurgents are killed.
Treasure can change the condition of the country
The Government of Pakistan is mainly eyeing the gold and copper mines of Balochistan. The Reko Dik mine here is one of the largest gold and copper mines in the world. It is located in Chagai district which has millions of tonnes of metal. It is estimated that 590 million tonnes of mineral reserves are present in this mine and 0.22 grams of gold and 0.41 percent copper can be extracted from per tonne of reserves. If the government gets this treasure, then the condition of the country can change without taking any loan.
400 million tonnes of gold is hidden
Media reporters claim that 400 million tonnes of gold can be hidden in this mine, whose estimated value can be up to two trillion dollars. Balochistan, situated in the southwest of Pakistan, shares its borders with Iran and Afghanistan. The area of this province is almost equal to half of Pakistan. Only 3.6 percent of the total population of the country lives here. Balochistan sitting on top of the natural treasure is still one of the most backward areas of the country.
