Threat to coalition government
When Imran lost his seat last year, Pakistan People’s League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) jointly elected Shehbaz as PM. In this way a coalition government took the lead in the country. All the three parties are currently trying to pacify the MQM-P.
PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari, PDM Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman and PM Shahbaz have assured the MQM-P that the party’s concerns will be addressed at any cost. But the threat of MQM has shown a hope to Imran. After the political developments happening in the country, Imran gave an interview to a private channel. He said, ‘PTI has gone through this test and it has passed this test. Now it is Shahbaz’s turn.
