Foreign debt of 20 lakh crores
Imran’s arrest has created a ruckus in Pakistan at a time when its economy has gone into a trough. To run the country, the government has to constantly ask for loans. Paying back the loan is becoming heavy for Pakistan. Due to this, all the global institutions including IMF are hesitating to give new loans. At present, Pakistan has foreign debt of more than 20 lakh crore Pakistani rupees.
