Diplomacy does not work with personal relationships. Even if it wants to, no country can help another country only for personal reasons or out of kindness. Because decisions are for the country. Whatever is appropriate for the country, the same decision will be taken. PM Modi returned home this morning after visiting three countries. He was welcomed here. The most special in this tour was the meeting of PM Modi and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. Which was happening for the first time after the war. Ukraine has a lot of expectations from India, the most democratic country in the world. America has also said that India can mediate between Ukraine and Russia.
When Zelensky and Modi met, the officials of both the countries had made complete preparations for it. PM Modi and Zelensky talked on the sidelines of the G-7 meeting. Zelensky said that PM Modi only demanded peace. He told PM Modi that he wanted India to support the peace proposal. Apart from this, India did not make any other demand from Ukraine. There is a reason behind this too. India has some restrictions of its own. India has its own diplomacy. India has never refused Ukraine for humanitarian help. When the PM met Putin, he did not justify the war in any sense. The PM said that the solution to this problem should be found diplomatically.
Zelensky did not put India in religious crisis
Zelensky asks for military help from Europe. Europe is helping them. They are taking war material from America but what was the reason that they did not seek any kind of military help from India or PM Modi. The reason behind this is India’s diplomacy. Whenever there was a proposal against Russia, India separated itself from the UN. The relations between India and Russia are very old. When America had turned against India, Russia was the only country which was supporting India. Ukraine also knows this history very well. Zelensky respects PM Modi. They do not want India to be put in any religious crisis. That’s why Zelensky only asked for support on the peace proposal.
PM Modi seeks support on peace proposal
If Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky had the highest hopes in the G-7 forum, then it was from India. Because India believes in peace and is also the largest democratic country in the world. Zelensky told PM Modi about the Ukrainian Peace Formula Initiative. Zelensky told the solution by which this war going on after 15 months can be stopped. Zelensky sought the PM’s support for this Ukrainian Peace Formula Initiative, which can be called a peace proposal in simple language. Along with this, the PM was also invited to Ukraine. According to information received from sources, PM Modi has said to consider this proposal.
