The relations between India and Australia have always been friendly. After the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, even more sweetness has dissolved in these relations. Every day some new evidence of the friendship of the two countries is being seen. Australia Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced on Wednesday that his country would open a new Australian consulate in Bengaluru. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that India would open a new consulate in Brisbane.
In the last two decades, India has made a lot of progress in technology and digital domain. Cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Noida, Gurugram are being seen as the best performing cities in the field of digital technology. These cities remain the hub of startups. This is the reason why countries all over the world want to take advantage of it. It is believed that keeping these things in mind, Australia has decided to open the new Australian Consulate in Bengaluru.

Australia will have 5 embassies in India
While doing a joint press conference in Sydney, PM Albanese said that I am happy to inform that the new Australian Consulate will be opened in Bengaluru. This will help connect Australian companies to India’s emerging digital and innovation ecosystem. And I welcome India’s plan to open a new consulate in Brisbane.
He further said that this would be Australia’s fifth embassy in India after the opening of the embassy in Bengaluru. I would like to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again for coming here and giving us such a warm welcome. I look forward to returning to India for the G-20 leaders’ meeting in September.

An MoU related to the Mobility, Migration and Green Hydration Task Force has been exchanged between Australia and India. Students, graduates, researchers and business people will get the biggest benefit of the deal regarding mobility partnership. This agreement will improve relations between the two countries and will help in increasing mutual cooperation.
