Multiple sources told the Nepalese newspaper Kathmandu Post that initial reports indicated that the flaps were not fully open. Two mobile videos went viral soon after the crash. In a video, the plane could be seen tilting to one side and then falling. The second video surfaced after some time and went viral, especially in India. Indian passenger Sonu Jaiswal showed the view from inside seconds before the plane went down in a live video.
Experts were surprised to see the video
It can be seen in the video that the flaps did not come down completely. Some experts suspect that the plane may have crashed for this reason. Kumar Pandey, a senior pilot said, ‘I was shocked to see this video.’ Pandey, who flew the same aircraft in 2007-08, said, “From the window, it can be clearly seen that the wing flags on one side of the aircraft were not fully open.” I am saying this on the basis of the video which is being thoroughly investigated.
Team of 11 people is investigating
He said that it appears that the pilots made a mistake. If so, then it is gross negligence. He didn’t follow the basic checklist. French company ATR Aerospace is investigating the cause of the plane crash. The investigation team consists of 11 experts. According to aviation experts, two experienced pilots were flying the plane on Sunday. During this time the weather was also clear and there was no technical problem. In such a situation, more questions are being raised regarding the reasons for this plane crash.
